Absa Cape Epic 2015 - Stage 7 - The Final Race

After eight days of thrilling racing, 748km of distance and 16.000m of altitude, Christoph Sauser (SUI) and Jaroslav Kulhavy (CZE) won the general classification (MEN) of this year’s Cape Epic by 10 minutes and 41 seconds from Topeak Ergon’s Alban Lakata of Austria and Kristian Hynek of the Czech Republic. After a tough week in beautiful South Africa with many mechanical problems the German/Swiss duo Karl Platt and Urs Huber from team BULLS ended up third at the world’s toughest mountain biking stage race. Overall Results - MEN: 1st place: Team Investec-Songo-Specialized – Christoph Sauser (SUI) and Jaroslav Kulhavy (CZE) 2nd place: Team Topeak Ergon – Kristian Hynek (CZE) and Alban Lakata (AUT) 3rd place: Team BULLS – Karl Platt (GER) and Urs Huber (SUI)
