Life is all about making decisions. Imagine: You are in Indonesia, you promised your friends to fly back to surf with them in France, but there is such a massive swell on its way to Indonesia. One you simply can't not surf. Jatyr Berasaluce had to make the call and it turned out to be a good one. The life of a pro surfer is full of fun and excitement, but also full of making tough calls. Missing friends and family. Therefore Jatyr dropped his final Pin in his hometown Bilbao. To enjoy his well deserved time with friends and family after being on the road for more than 3 months.

Protest Pin It - Episode 1 - Thurso Scotland

In this first episode Protest rider Tristan Guilbaud placed his pin in Thurso, Scotland. Inspired by the stories of his team friends Oli Adams and Yannick de Jager he wanted to surf the big waves as well. Well one thing is for sure, Tristan didn't get disappointed.

Protest - Mexico Chapter 3/3 - Surf

The last chapter of Tristan’s and Jatyr’s road trip through Mexico ends in Acapulco, where both Protest team riders compete in the WSQ 4-star contest. After having surfed the best waves and barrels in Mexico in the days preceding the contest, both friends head fully prepared a bit further north. However Tristan’s sickness two days before the event causes him to struggle to get back his full strength. Additionally the waves in the well-known beach resort Acapulco aren’t as nice and high as the ones during their road trip. Can both Protest riders handle the pressure and overcome the setbacks they are facing?

Hidden Port The 'hidden port' in the southern Mexican Oaxaca region presented ideal conditions to prepare for the WSQ 4-star contest in Acapulco. Protest - Mexico Chapter 1/3 - Surf

Tristan Guilbaud and Jatyr Berasaluce start their own four chapters of "Stories From Here To There" with a road trip in Mexico. Like their Protest teammates Oli and Yannick they kick-off with the search for the most perfect rides in the world. In the first chapter Tristan and Jatyr spend 22 hours on deserted Mexican roads to get to their ultimate destination: Huatulco. In preparation for their WSQ 4-star contest in Acapulco both friends enjoy the longest secret empty waves in the Salinas Cruz area.
