Hi, my name is PK Hunder. My discipline is freeski big air & slopestyle. I was born on 28 May 1989 in Hafjell, Norway. My special talent is playing golf. My favourite food is sushi. My favourite music is rap.

Broken neck? What broken neck? Despite sustaining a serious, potentially life-threatening injury back in 2009, Norwegian freestyle skier PK Hunder wasn't going to let it stop him getting back on his feet and challenging the sport's elite.

PK, short for Per Kristian, was born in 1989 and raised on his parents' farm in Norway. He grew up in the shadow of Hafjell, the ski resort that played host to the 1994 Winter Olympics, and therefore had a natural ability when it came to skiing.

When he was 14, he started entering competitions and immediately impressed judges and spectators alike. However, his first proper breakthrough came when he won the Jon Olsson Invitational (JOI) in 2007. Later that same year, he scored an outstanding second place at the US Open.

The 2008–2009 season kicked-off in a similar fashion, as Hunder wowed judges at both the London Freeze (first place) and the Freestyle.CH in Switzerland (second place). He then proceeded to beat well-established freeski legends Simon Dumont and Jon Olsson at the King of Style competition.

Hunder also won the Winter Dew Tour in 2009 and a bronze medal in the Winter X Games that same year. Not one to sit still, he has gone on to win the Jon Olsson Invitational again in 2013, and in 2014 he competed in the Sochi Winter Olympics.

Today, Hunder continues to exert that same level of passion and enthusiasm. Looking ahead, he promises to pull out all the stops and once again dominate the international circuit!
